ABSTRACT:
Esthetic treatment and rehabilitation of the anterior dentition through direct and indirect veneers have been used extensively in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics with proven clinical success. With the development of different materials like zirconium silicate ( indirect composite), feldspathic ceramics, reinforced lithium disilicate ceramics ( pressed ceramics), zirconium, Dentists have the choice of selecting the best material for their patients’ esthetic needs. Traditional veneer preparations are now being modified either minimally invasive or extended defect-oriented preparation designs as well. Choosing correctly on the materials and preparation design when restoring the anterior esthetic zone is crucial to achieving a conservative and long-lasting treatment.
