i'm a graduate of dental hygiene program in the philippines just march of 2011. unfortunately, the PRC stopped issuing a letter/certification of "Application for Registration and Licensing Without Exam" last Nov 2010. i've never heard of exam held here in the country for dental hygiene eversince the course was regulated in 2007. the first actual exam in the country will be held in 2013. i'm planning to go to canada by next year, i supposed to pass my credentials by this year to have them assessed, but this problem making all the delays. can somebody pls help on this. what would be my first step? because 1 of the requirement of the assessing body in canada is the proof of licensure of the said course. i hope somebody can enlighten me with this. thank you very much!

how much does a fixed bridge cost?
plastic-
porcelain-
does a porcelain fixed bridge really have a metal interior?
i specifically told dr. urbano that i wanted a porcelain fixed bridge, that i didn't want any metal in it because i was expecting to undergo a procedure wherein all metals are supposed to be removed from my body.

but i found out that the"porcelain" fixed bridge she put had a metal interior.
can i demand a replacement even if it was about 1-2 years ago?

Sir/Madam,

what about the dental technician here in abroad, that while there in the Philippines didn't had a chance to work in the lab. but here in abroad from 2007 good laboratory gave us a chance to work with them even no license because they really believe and trust in the quality that we can give to them, for example in my case, do i need to take exam even they can give me certificate from 2007 to present and pass all the requirements before august 2010 in PRC? because my boss are not after with my license and even here that the technician need a license they bypass it because they know the difficulty processing it, so that they just tell to their technicians, "WHAT I NEED IS A QUALITY OF YOUR HAND AND NOT YOUR LICENSE". but they are registered here in Health Ministry.

for summary, what about us that the situation is like this, is this kind of experiences as a dental technician is not qualified to be exempted in the exam? that even foreign professionals, acknowledge and believe in our works, specially to Filipino technician.

I am one of the Filipino who ask how about us? that can't afford to go back home anytime, but have this kind of experience. There are more situations that if we will think, its conflict.

Thank you for your time to answer and hope for consideration.

God bless and more power.
