The latest CMOS APS sensor technology is utilized in Sigma M system. It shapens images, it has low noise and with true resolution of up to 20 lp/mm. It has two sizes of sensors with sizable active area for intraoral diagnostic procedures.
The image transmission of the said dental sensor is based on WiFi/WLAN technology. Sigma M can be used in mutiple dental operatories and a sinlge sensor can serve an entire dental practice. It has a magnet attachment which enables the unit to be placed on the x-ray tubehead – it keeps the sensor close to the patient.
